The Irish Setter Club of Ohio, Inc., founded in 1947, holds Back-To-Back Annual Specialty Shows in August of each year in conjunction with the Lorain County Kennel Club providing an opportunity for exhibitors to earn 4 majors. The shows are held outdoors in Oberlin, Ohio with the beautiful summer weather being a perfect backdrop for the equally beautiful redheads. Attracting exhibitors from all over the USA and Canada and including Puppy Sweepstakes and Veteran Sweepstakes it is a show not to be missed! Very nice Trophies are awarded to all winners.

The club provides a continental breakfast and wonderful luncheon spreads for all exhibitors, spectators and judges. We hold a large raffle of Irish Setter and dog related items that are coveted by those buying tickets.

Besides having a chance for those ever-elusive major wins and important breed points for the Specials, we have a wonderful time socializing with fellow Irish Setter lovers and getting to see dogs and friends from various parts of the USA and Canada.
